Friday Favorites

Good Morning Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika for Friday Favorites. 1) Y'all I just can't get enough of A Smoky Mountain Christmas! Dolly Parton is just so genuine. And now that I have the DVD this year, it is playing all the time. This is definitely one of my favorites. 2) Amazon Prime I don't mean to be a last minute christmas shopper but gift giving for me is all about feeling. I really have to connect with that present to get it and give it. Sometimes that happens later than I would like and Amazon Prime is just that a PRIME! Free, Two-day shipping on most items. I cam easily compare prices and of course, I love me some prime movies and shows that come with a subscription.  So if you don't have Amazon Prime, you should seriously consider getting it, especially around the holidays.  3) SALES SALES SALES!!! I need to mark my calendar to remember that this time next year, the best sale deals are NOW. Forget

Stranded With Christmas Movies...

Image
Hi everyone,  Random post for me but when I saw Shay and Erika's stranded topic today I just had to join in. So, if I had to take only three Christmas movies with me to watch over and over again on a deserted island they would be: 1) The Holiday I am so with Shay on this one. I watch this movie all year round. It is a great feel-good comedy with a phenomenal soundtrack. And it is so beautiful to watch. The cinematography is gorgeous.  I love everything about this movie. 2) Smoky Mountain Christmas Not very many people have heard of this but Smoky Mountain Christmas is a made for TV movie that I would search and search every year for. Usually it would play on TBS and now it will play on the Hallmark channel. If you love Dolly Parton and especially if you love her new movies Coat of Many Colors or Circle of Love, you would love this movie. I finally tracked down a DVD (no clue if its bootlegged but I would buy another one if she ever made it

My Mix Tape

Today I am linking up with Andrea over at Momfessionals  for Show and Tell Tuesday to share the soundtrack to my life. Today's theme is for everyone to share their life's mix tape and what songs would be the soundtrack to different stages of your life.  This should be fun and slightly embarrassing. I don't remember this much because I was a baby but I'm told that wherever I was in the house, when the Young and the Restless Theme Song came on I would stop what I was doing, turn my head and listen. The song is called Nadia's Theme by Henry Mancini. I definitely agree with you Andrea, I grew up watching the The Elephant Show too but I loved the end song and sang it all the time. So here is Skinnamarink. Guys I'm a theme song junky. I had plenty of outside time, trust me but I loved my TV shows and I could sing just about any TV show theme song of my childhood. So I'm going to spare you and share just a few. I loved Pee-wee&#

Hola Bloggeritos! TGIF!!! Today, I am linking up with Andrea  for Friday Favorites. 1) To begin, my 8 year-old self is jumping for joy with the official release of Fuller House on Netflix.  Let the binge watching begin.  2) My amazing hubby. I've been out of town visiting my nephew, brother, and sister-in-law in Texas and he stayed in Florida to take care of our 3 fur babies. Well, apparently I just do not travel well and I always seem to catch a cold no matter how much Airborne I take (any advice would be grateful) - So I came home sick and he jumped right in to help take care of me. Jonathan, you are definitely a favorite of mine. 3) This Garnier Clearly Brighter AntiPuff Eye Roller. You just roll it on when your eyes are looking a little tired and boom! Its like you've just placed some cucumbers on your eyes and your left with that refreshing feeling and less puffiness. I bought mine through Amazon Pantry. 4) My Metal Ware Corp Aroma D

Life Lately...

Where did January go? No seriously. I cannot believe that February has arrived so quickly. Life lately has been so full, I think a moment to breath is in order and since we are in a Leap Year, we get 1 extra day to do just that. So in true Lynsey fashion (totally random), here is a January recap and a little sneak peak into what February has in store. We started the year off with some hiking. Jonathan has hiked some of the trails at Torreya State Park before as well as camped out here but this particular trail was new to all of us. The terrain was pretty moderate. It was hilly, sandy, and wet at times. The trail was about 6.5 miles. We all loved it. Later in the month we celebrated this lady right here. This is Sabrina and she has been in our lives for the last year bringing all sorts of feels and fun to our lives, including movie nights, camping, cooking with tomatoes, tacos and games. She recently accepted a position on the other side of the country in
